Tournament Structure
The Rugby Sevens championships will each consist of sixteen boys teams and sixteen girls teams. Each tournament will be split into 4 pools for round robin pool play. Following the completion of round robin games, the top 2 teams from each pool will advance the Championship bracket and the bottom two will play in the Challenge bracket. Tournament seeding is predetermined by a BCSS appointed committee.
Uniforms
All teams/athletes must wear school uniforms for the competition. The uniforms must comply with the guidelines and regulations set forth for rugby, including requirements for numbers, crests, or any other specific details. Failure to comply will be subject to sanctions and penalties. Corporate logos on uniforms are restricted to a maximum of two logos, and each logo should not exceed the dimensions of a credit card.
Equipment
All players must wear a mouth guard. Cleats with a fixed metal toe studs are permitted.
Tournament Accreditation
All players and coaches must have accreditation to enter the stadium.
Spectators will be charged an admission fee on site. Coaches must come with a printed roster list (with player numbers) to give to announcers when playing in the stadium.
