Provincial tournament seeding allocations are determined by the BCSS Rugby Sport Advisory Committee. Every zone is represented on the committee. No half or shared berths are awarded.

The Committee will examine the following metrics to determining seeding:

Current season results; exhibition, regular season, Cross-Zone games, weekly rankings etc.
Historical strength of zones and teams within the zones.

Berth’s available in this year’s championship are:

Girls 7’s – 16 berths
Boys 7’s – 16 berths

Tournament Structure

Boys and Girls 7’s: The boys’ and girls’ Provincial Championships will each consist of sixteen (16) teams. Teams will play in 4 seeded pools, followed by a championship bracket or consolation bracket.
