Berthing

• There are 16 berths into the Provincial Championships. Each zone was awarded a berth into the 2025 tournament.  
• The seven (7) remaining berths were allocated on the percentages of active senior programs in each BCSS zone. If a zone does not fill their berth, it will be allocated using the percentages method to the next zone.
• Zones will need to inform BCSS Staff if they are declining their allocated berths by October 31st. 

Important Dates

• Team Registration (STARS) Deadline: October 1st, 2025 
• Roster Registration (STARS) Deadline: October 15th, 2025 
• Deadline for Zones to Decline Allocated Berths: October 31st, 2025 
• Zone Championships Completed: November 6th, 2025 
• Championship Registration Deadline: November 8th, 2025 

Tournament Structure
The championship will consist of a sixteen (16) team tournament.

• The tournament will be separated into four (4) pools of four (4) teams each.
• At the conclusion of the pool play, teams will be seeded into a bracket:
  • First place teams moving into the Championship semifinals.
  • Second place teams playing for 5^th - 8^th ranking.
  • Third place teams playing for 9^th - 12^th ranking.
  • Fourth place teams playing for 13^th - 16^th ranking. 
• All matches are two 35-minute halves.
