Race Structure

The 2026 Cross Country Championships will be comprised of nine separate categories and each of the races will be run separately. (The ‘A’ & 'AA' races will be combined but scored separately).
Racers are required to run on the marked trails of their corresponding category. All racers must have a competition bib to compete in the provincials.

Senior Boys (A/AA/AAA) – approximately 5 km
Senior Girls (A/AA/AAA) – approximately 5 km
Junior Girls and Boys – approximately 4.1 km
Para – approximately 2 km

* ‘A’/’AA’ races may be two separate races if the 'A' race has at least 100 runners.

Races will commence according to the posted schedule. Athletes should be warmed up and ready to race when called to the start line.
